About Me
Hello! I’m Ethan Ide, and I’m an Academic Advisor for the the College Of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT). I’m actually a UMBC Alumni myself, having graduated a few years ago. As a COEIT Advisor, just like all my colleagues, I’m able to assist any student who is pursuing a major or minor in our college.

Please keep in mind that I typically only post appointment availability one week in advance to avoid accidently posting appointment times on top of other meetings and responsibilities. So if you open up the booking page and see that there’s no appointments available, don’t panic! I’m likely just out of appointments for the week, and will be posting the next week’s schedule shortly.
Work Schedule
Mondays and Wednesdays: Telework, 9:00AM – 4:30PM
Tuesdays and Thursdays: In-Office in ITE 202, 9:00AM – 4:30PM
Fridays: Alternating between Telework and In-Office, 9:00AM – 4:30PM
Fun Fact
I play video games in my spare time, playing a mostly even spread of everything but weighted slightly towards Nintendo games specifically.
