The College of Engineering and Information Technology administers scholarships through a common application. The COEIT Scholarship Application may be used to apply for one or more scholarships offered to students pursuing a major in the College of Engineering and Information Technology at UMBC.
In addition to completing the online application, a 2019-2020 FAFSA must be on file with UMBC Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for consideration for any scholarships that require “demonstrated financial need” as a requirement for eligibility. A resume must be uploaded to your application. Your resume should reflect all applicable work history, research experience, community service, leadership experience, and awards. For resources on how to write a resume, please visit this site. Please have your resume prepared before starting the application.
The application for 2019-2020 academic year awards has closed. Students will be notified of award decisions in Summer 2019.
