About Me
I joined the College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT) Advising team in 2020 as the Academic Advisor for the Computer Science (CMSC) and Mechanical Engineering (MENG) programs at UMBC’s Shady Grove campus. In my role, I support both prospective and current students, guiding them from their initial interest in our programs through to graduation.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing students progress and succeed throughout their academic journey. I recently completed my doctoral degree and am excited to continue finding new and meaningful ways to support our Shady Grove student population.
Fun Fact: In my spare time, you’ll often find me exploring fantasy worlds through MMO and RPG games—sometimes during naptime! I also have a deep appreciation for Japanese culture and language, and I love diving into both whenever I get the chance. When I’m not questing or studying kanji, I’m usually having mini adventures with my toddler, which is the most fun of all!
